RISHA Lifetime members are those who meet the following requirements:
- Proof of active membership in RISHA for 25 consecutive years
- 65 years of age or older
- (1) a graduate or advanced degree with a major emphasis in speech-language pathology, audiology, or speech, language or hearing science or (2) a graduate or advanced degree and present evidence of active research, interest and performance in the field of human communication
Lifetime members are exempt from dues payments. Each Lifetime Member shall be considered an Active Member and possess one vote with RISHA. Only Active and Lifetime Members are eligible to hold office on the RISHA Executive Board.
