Patricia M. Stephens Memorial Scholarship
The Rhode Island Speech-Language-Hearing Association (RISHA) established this scholarship to honor Patricia Stephens, a long-time member of our organization who served as recording secretary, newsletter co-editor, treasurer, and continuing education administrator. She was a speech-language pathologist in the Woonsocket, RI school system for 13 years, and will be remembered for her dedication to her profession and to RISHA. Pat was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and Worcester State University.
Graduate students majoring in speech-language pathology or audiology at the University of Rhode Island or Worcester State College are eligible for the scholarship.The amount of the scholarship is $1,000.
