Thank you to Senator, and Speech-Language Pathologist, Hanna Gallo for hosting RISHA members at the May 17th Better Hearing & Speech Month event at the Rhode Island State House. At approximately 4pm, assembled speech-language pathologists and students were invited onto the Senate floor. Senator Gallo introduced those present and requested a resolution proclaiming May as “Better Hearing and Speech Month” in the state of Rhode Island. This is an annual event and we hope to see you next year!
